Job summary

CCH is looking for a Complex Care Assistant to support a client active in the community in Harwich. The role involves personal care, daily duties, and escorting client to outings, with emphasis on safe mobility and social activities.

We provide full training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas; a full UK driving licence is required to drive the client’s mobility vehicle. DBS check offered and support for progression within the team.

Shifts:9 am - 9 pm| Monday – Friday | Saturday and Sunday alternate weekends and occasional week-day cover

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Complex Care Assistant to support a client who is actively engaged in the community. The client enjoys a variety of activities, including swimming, visiting the zoo, day trips, walking, and visiting churches.

Excellent communication skills are essential to provide effective support and help the client make the most of their social and recreational activities. If you are compassionate, reliable, and enjoy supporting an active lifestyle, this role is for you.

• Daily and domestic duties
• Escorting to outings in the community

• Meal preparation

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need complex care experience to apply for this role as this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your skills and become part of a team that makes a real difference. You’ll receive full training and ongoing clinical support to develop in key areas such as tracheostomy care, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care - and much more.

You will need a full UK driving licence and be able to drive the clients manual mobility vehicle.
