Job summary

Komplex Care is seeking a Care Assistant to support a gentleman with lifelong clinical needs in his own home in Wolverhampton. You will work days and waking nights on 12-hour shifts, delivering safe, person-centred care under nurse-led oversight.

You will assist with personal care, catheter care, moving and handling, and monitor changes in the condition. Fully paid training, 24/7 GP access for you and family, and life insurance are provided.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• Ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently.
• Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.
• Genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Managing tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment.

The Role

Role: Care Assistant

Location: Wolverhampton

Hours: Days & Waking Nights - 12 Hour Shifts

Payrate: £13.50 per hour

Your Role as a Care Assistant

You’ll join a dedicated, nurse-led team providing hands‑on care for individuals with lifelong and potentially life‑critical clinical needs.

This is NOT standard domiciliary care. You’ll follow detailed clinical care plans, monitor changes in the individual’s condition and perform the specialist interventions needed to keep them safe, stable and comfortable at home. Your responsibilities may include:
