Job summary

Komplex Group is seeking a Complex Care Assistant for a nurse-led, in-home care role in Newbold Verdon. You will work 3 x 12 hour shifts per week, including day and night duties, delivering specialist care to adults with lifelong complex needs.

The role emphasizes following detailed care plans, managing ventilation, and providing high-quality clinical support in the client’s home. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• A full UK driving licence.
• Experience in care or confidence undertaking clinical training.
• Excellent attention to detail and situational awareness.
• The ability to follow detailed clinical protocols consistently; Basic IT skills for communication and record-keeping.
• A genuine commitment to safe, person-centred care.

The Role

Role: Complex Care Assistant

Location: Newbold Verdon

Hours: 3 x 12 hour shifts per week, (Day and Night)

Payrate: £13 per hour

Your Role as a Care Assistant

You’ll join a dedicated, nurse-led team providing hands-on care for individuals with lifelong and potentially life-critical clinical needs.

This is NOT standard domiciliary care. You’ll follow detailed clinical care plans, monitor changes in the individual’s condition and perform the specialist interventions needed to keep them safe, stable and comfortable at home. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing personal care, medication and clinical interventions
• Managing tracheostomies, ventilation and specialist equipment
• Monitoring clinical observations and recognising deterioration
• Maintaining accurate records and escalating concerns immediately
