Job summary

Maples Care Home in Bexleyheath is seeking a Care Assistant to help residents with daily living, personal care and mobility. You will follow care plans to support dignity, independence and wellbeing, working as part of a supportive team in a warm, homely environment.

We offer a competitive hourly rate of £13.03, 34.5 hours per week on days and nights, paid DBS check, uniform provided and 5.6 weeks of annual leave. Full training and ongoing development will be provided to help you succeed.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Good communication and teamwork
• Willingness to learn and develop
• Previous experience is beneficial but not essential

Responsibilities

• Support residents with daily living including personal care, mobility, nutrition and emotional wellbeing.
• Follow care plans to deliver safe, responsive and consistent care.
• Work within a supportive team to create a warm and positive environment.
• Assist with daily activities to help residents feel comfortable, respected and valued.
