ICCM Ltd is seeking a care professional to support a client with a spinal cord injury at the client’s home in Wirral. You will work with the Live-in Carer to assist with personal care, mobility and daily living, while safeguarding dignity and privacy.
No previous experience is required, and nurse-led training will be provided. The role offers day and night shifts with progression opportunities within City & County Healthcare Group.
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour days and £14.00 per hour nights. This role is working with another carer, therefore two carers will be present during personal care and when mobilising the client. This role has the opportunity to offer contracted hours after successful completion of probation.
Location: Bromborough, Wirral.
Shifts Available: Days and Nights required 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am.

As a care professional, you'll get:
You will be supporting our Client who has a spinal cord injury and working with their Live in Carer to help support them with personal care, mobility and all aspects of daily living. You will attend to their medication and catheter care needs, support with bowel management and ensure the client dignity is maintained. Our client enjoys his privacy and being supported to be comfortable in their own home, they enjoy doing activities in the home and need support to do this and are able to direct their own care. This role is about building a long term rapport to improve the quality of their life and empower them to make their own decisions.
No experience is required.
Good communications skills.
Ability to maintain professional boundaries yet develop a rapport with the client.
Nurse Led training is provided.
