Job summary

McCarthy Stone invites you to join as a Care Assistant at Lancer House, Colchester. This part-time role offers 20 hours per week, with shifts including evenings and weekends, at £13.26–£14.56 per hour.

You’ll support residents with daily tasks, assist with activities, and promote independence in a retirement living community. Experience in UK health and social care is preferred, with funded training available.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1+ year in UK health and social care preferred.
• Level 2 QCF in Health and Social Care (Adults) is a plus but not essential.
• Caring, dependable and patient.

Lancer House is a Retirement Living PLUS development exclusively for the over 70s. This development comprises 53 apartments with numerous communal facilities such as a Club Lounge, a Wellness Suite and a bistro-style restaurant which serves freshly prepared food daily

You will be working a mix of early shifts, and late shifts, including alternate weekends.
