Job summary

Helping Hands Homecare in Hereford is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner on a fixed-term 9-month contract. You’ll coach new carers from interview to onboarding, helping the branch maintain quality and meaningful client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.

• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.

As a Care and Training Practitioner with Helping Hands, you’ll play a vital role in shaping exceptional care, supporting new carers from their very first interview through to their full onboarding journey. This role is a fixed term contract for 9 months.
