Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner in Tamworth for a part-time position offering 20 hours per week. You will play a pivotal role in coaching and onboarding carers, maintaining quality and compliance, and fostering meaningful relationships with customers.

In this role you will train and mentor new carers, assist with audits and documentation, perform spot checks, review care plans, and contribute to on-call duties within the branch rota, all within a supportive,

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A keen eye for detail and confidence in maintaining compliance and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
