Job summary

Care Santé Limited is seeking a local Community Care Worker to join our team in Long Eaton, delivering compassionate in-home care to vulnerable adults in their own homes. Roles can be part-time or full-time with morning and evening shifts.

You will assist with personal care, mobility, meals, medications and daily tasks, while upholding dignity and safety. No prior experience is required, full training provided, with progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Assist with mobility and use of aids/equipment.
• Perform domestic tasks: beds, tidying, light cleaning and laundry.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals and drinks.
• Support with administering medication.
• Contribute to end-of-life care when needed.

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our usual working shifts are:

• Mornings 7am - 3pm
• Evenings 3pm -10pm

Job Description:

• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• A driving licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
