Job summary

Care Santé Limited is seeking a part-time care and support worker to join our Nottingham team, providing in-home care to vulnerable adults. The role covers mornings, evenings and night shifts, with alternate weekends, and offers training and progression opportunities.

You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, medication support, and light domestic tasks, in a supportive home environment. Right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care (washing, bathing, toileting).
• Support mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Perform domestic tasks (beds, tidying, laundry, light cleaning).
• Prepare meals and drinks and help with eating.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Provide end-of-life care support when needed.

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our usual working shifts are:

• Mornings 7am-3pm
• Evenings 3pm-10pm
• Nights 10pm-7am

Job Description:

• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks
• Support with administrating medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care

Requirements:

• Have a right to work within the UK
• No previous experience is necessary but you will need to demonstrate real compassion, be an excellent communicator and problem solver, and be committed to delivering high-quality, respectful care
