Job summary

Valley Care By Care Sante invites applications for Care and Support Workers to join our team in Nottingham. We offer full-time and part-time permanent positions with waking sleep-in night shifts as part of our care schedule, and no previous experience is necessary as full training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Help with mobility and use of aids and equipment.
• Domestic tasks such as making and changing beds, tidying rooms, light cleaning, laundry and emptying commodes.
• Help with eating and drinking by preparing meals, snacks and drinks.
• Support with administering medication.
• Contribute as needed to a person’s end-of-life care.

You’ll provide life-changing care and support that enables vulnerable adults of all ages to live fulfilling lives in their own homes.

Our Usual Working Shifts Are

• Sleep-in night shifts 10pm to 7am

Job Description

• Our home care assistants are responsible for assisting service users with personal care such as washing, bathing and toilet arrangements.
• Helping service users overcome any mobility problems and other physical disabilities, including helping in the use and care of aids and personal equipment.

Requirements
