Job summary

Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital is seeking a Receptionist for Cardiology Outpatients to welcome patients, manage clinic reception, bookings, and real-time data entry on the Patient Administration System. You will coordinate clinics and liaise with clinical teams to support smooth outpatient services.

Qualifications

• Good general literacy and numeracy.
• Experience in NHS or customer service organisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high-quality front-line service, welcoming patients and managing clinic reception.
• Book and rearrange appointments, coordinate clinics and maintain real-time data entry on the Patient Administration System.
• Liaise with clinical teams and respond to patient and staff enquiries professionally and confidentially.
• Support patient safety and comfort in waiting areas and help ensure smooth outpatient services.
