Job summary

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and time-management skills.
• Knowledge of NHS services and healthcare administrative systems and processes.
• Experience with databases, spreadsheets and patient administration systems including Excel.
• Understanding of medical terminology and Cardiology patient pathways.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Waiting List Coordinators, Receptionists and admin staff, allocating workload and providing training.
• Manage and monitor admitted and non‑admitted Patient Tracking Lists and six‑week diagnostic breaches.
• Oversee patient bookings across Cardiology services and ensure timely pathway progression.
• Respond to complex queries and escalate concerns as required.
• Support audits, performance monitoring and service improvement initiatives.
• Maintain high standards of data quality across Cardiobase and CareFlow.
