County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust in County Durham is seeking a Staff Nurse for the Cardiac Day Unit to provide pre and post-procedure care for cardiac day case procedures including pacemaker insertion, angiography and dobutamine stress echos.

The role requires an RN with current NMC registration, excellent communication skills, and ability to work autonomously within the cardiac team. Training and development opportunities are available; site hours are Mon-Fri 08:00-18:00.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with current NMC registration.
• Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.

Responsabilités

• Provide pre- and post-procedure care for cardiac day case patients.
• Assist with cardiology diagnostic procedures (e.g., pacemaker insertion, angiography, TOE, dobutamine stress echo).
• Support training and development within the unit and work with the cardiac team.
• Deliver care in line with trust policies and national standards.
