Job summary

Perfect Placement in Cirencester is seeking a Car Sales Manager to lead a small, dedicated sales team in a busy dealership. The role focuses on delivering outstanding customer service, driving both new and used vehicle sales across multiple brands, and maximizing profitability.

You will manage the sales process from enquiry to delivery, coach staff, and identify new business opportunities while maintaining strong community relationships. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

• Recent experience in car sales management within a franchise dealership is desirable; however, experienced Business Managers or Sales Controllers seeking progression will also be considered.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and driven to succeed.
• Ability to lead by example, engaging with customers and supporting the team.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence with minimal points.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to consistently achieve and surpass targets
• Drive new and used vehicle sales across the dealership's brands
• Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction throughout the sales journey
• Oversee the sales process from enquiry to delivery, maximising conversion rates
• Manage stock levels, vehicle presentation, and merchandising standards
• Promote F&I products and improve overall profitability
• Coach team members to maximise their potential and performance
• Identify new business opportunities and build strong relationships within the local community
• Maintain accurate reporting and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and company policies
