Job summary

Perfect Placement are recruiting on behalf of a respected franchise-approved car dealership in Cardiff for the position of Car Sales Manager. You will oversee the new and used vehicle sales team and drive targets.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience within a franchise-approved car dealership.
• Strong track record in vehicle sales management, ideally in a mid-large dealership.
• Experience with F&I processes and profitability strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the activities of the new and used vehicle sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Formulate and implement strategies to optimise profitability from vehicle sales, finance, insurance, and accessories.
• Manage vehicle purchasing, stock control, and forecourt operations.
• Drive customer satisfaction and retention through effective team leadership and personal example.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop policies and procedures that enhance dealership performance.
• Maintain high standards of process efficiency and cost control within the sales department.
• Act as a role model for dealership standards and brand representation, ensuring excellent customer experience.
