Job summary

Cameron Clarke Associates in Abergele is seeking a Car Sales Executive (Experienced Preferred) at our North Wales multi-franchised dealership. The role offers a competitive basic plus commission with an OTE of £26–£55K (DOE) and full training on offer.

Hours are 38.5 per week with a 2-week rota, requiring availability every other Saturday and Sunday. You will sell new and used vehicles, follow up leads, arrange finance add-ons and uphold franchise standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in vehicle industry, retail or a call centre preferred.
• Confident communicator across phone, email and in person.
• Willingness to learn product knowledge and customer service skills.
• Full driving license is essential.

Car Sales Executive (Experienced Preferred)

Location: Abergele, LL22 7HT

Salary: Competitive Basic + Commission. OTE approx £26-55K (DOE) + Full Training given

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 38.5hrs per week (ave) – 154hrs per 4weekly pay period based on a 2 week rota (must be able to work every other Saturday and Sunday)

As our Car Sales Executive, you will be responsible for:

• Displaying, demonstrating and selling new and used vehicles to customers.


• Following up sales leads.


• Processing vehicle orders and arranging for any rectification or sales add-ons.


• Ensuring full compliance for any regulated finance activity.


• Maintaining franchise standards and supporting colleagues and line managers in the dealership as required.


• Other ad-hoc duties.

In order to be successful in this role you should have:

• Experience in the vehicle industry, retail or a call centre background preferred.


• An enthusiastic and positive attitude, continually desiring to learn and develop your product knowledge and customer service skills.


• A confident manner with excellent communication skills, via phone, e-mail, letter and face to face.


• A full driving license.


• An extensive knowledge on vehicle makes, models and specifications is desirable and would be beneficial.


• Good computer and IT skills and able to confidently operate and multitask between various systems.


• Willingness to attend online and offset training to improve knowledge base in line with our franchise requirements.
