Qualifications

• Experience as Captain/Head Waiter in a luxury hotel/restaurant environment.
• Able to lead service and support colleagues in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident guest relations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
• Right to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and professionally, tailoring service to preferences and occasions.
• Guide guests with recommendations on food, wine, and beverages with storytelling.
• Lead service within your section, coordinating timing and team delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs and manage special requests with discretion.
• Maintain high standards of table prep, mise en place, hygiene and safety.
• Support and develop team members through knowledge sharing and leadership by example.
• Collaborate with Culinary and Beverage teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Contribute ideas to refine service rituals and the Major's guest experience.
