Job summary

Cambridge House in Mayfair is recruiting a Restaurant Manager for Major’s, the glamorous signature restaurant. You will work with the General Manager to lead day-to-day operations and deliver an elegant, vibrant dining experience where every detail reflects Major’s character.

You will oversee onboarding, train teams, and collaborate with the Culinary team to ensure menus and service meet the highest standards, while maintaining safety and cleanliness across the restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience leading restaurant pre-openings.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Thorough understanding of hospitality operations and financial performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the opening and ongoing operation of Major’s alongside the General Manager.
• Own the guest experience from arrival to farewell with a warm, intuitive service.
• Partner with Culinary team to align menus, service styles and guest expectations.
• Build strong relationships across Cambridge House with F&B, Reservations and Front-of-House teams.
• Lead onboarding, training and coaching to embed the Major’s vision.
• Cultivate a culture of shared responsibility, open communication and guest-focused service.
• Bring Major’s personality to life through thoughtful guest engagement and feedback handling.
• Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, food safety, licensing and health & safety.
