Job summary

Queens Cross Housing Association in the Glasgow area seeks an Investment Manager for Capital Projects and Property. You will lead the capital investment programme, manage procurement, budgets and contract performance to deliver safe, well-maintained homes and thriving communities.

The role requires strong leadership in property or construction, with experience in procurement, risk management and delivering major works.

Responsibilities

Lead and deliver capital investment and major works programmes across North West Glasgow.
Take projects from feasibility through procurement to site delivery and handover.
Contribute to Asset Management Strategy and target outcomes.
Set objectives, milestones, budgets, quality standards, risk controls, and communications for each project.
Manage budgets, forecast spend, monitor commitments, and report financial performance.
Procure and manage contractors in line with public sector procurement rules and value-for-money principles.
Oversee contract management, including supplier performance, variations and final accounts.
Identify and manage risks related to cost, quality, procurement, and delivery timelines.
Lead and develop the Investment team to foster accountability and high performance.
Prepare clear reports and updates for senior managers, the Board, customers and stakeholders.
Collaborate across Property Services, Housing, Finance, and Customer Services to coordinate investment activity.
