Job summary

Chemring Energetics UK is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to take ownership of a dynamic CAPEX program. You will lead a skilled team of Project Engineers to ensure our materials and processes meet high standards, driving projects from concept to commissioning with safety, quality, and innovation at the core.

The role requires strong leadership, a proactive problem-solving approach, and the ability to build effective relationships across multifunctional teams to improve performance at site

Qualifications

• Degree/HND/HNC in engineering or equivalent.
• Broad knowledge of civil and engineering practices and standards.
• Project Management experience.
• Design Review experience.
• IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with risk assessments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out all activities in full compliance with HSE legislation and company policy.
• Manage Project Engineering Team and develop individuals to meet business needs.
• Prepare a detailed CAPEX programme delivering to CEUK budget.
• Manage capital projects through to commissioning and transfer to receiving department.
• Ensure timely and accurate provision of plant and facilities information to the engineering drawing office.
• Maintain regular structured communication across Plant & Facilities functions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental processes for Ardeer site.
• Carry out direct staff objectives and reviews.
