Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking a Head of Construction and Enabling UK CAPEX Projects to lead the on-site delivery of high-value EPC projects within a live refinery environment. You will drive safety, quality and schedule across multiple sites, coordinating with contractors and regulators to ensure compliant, efficient execution.

The role requires a proven track record in complex industrial projects on UK sites, with strong leadership and commercial awareness to manage budgets, change control

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading EPC construction delivery on large-scale industrial or energy projects.
• Strong leadership and safety culture in complex live sites.
• Proven ability to manage multiple contractors, interfaces and critical delivery phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible, strategic leadership across multi-disciplinary construction activities and multiple project sites.
• Lead contractor performance with focus on safety, quality, programme and delivery.
• Drive construction commercial performance including change control and claims management.
• Oversee enabling works and ensure site readiness for safe construction execution.
• Maintain CDM 2015, COMAH and UK HSE compliance.
• Identify and resolve complex construction issues and project interfaces (SIMOPS).
• Ensure robust temporary works governance during delivery.
• Lead construction input into commissioning and handover to operations.
• Build strong relationships with project teams, contractors, stakeholders and regulators.
