Job description

You will oversee Welcome Desk operations such as distributing post, operating the University switchboard, and responding to a diverse range of queries (in person, over the phone and via email). You'll be responsible for daily operations, including Parking & Green Travel, vehicle hire, incoming & outgoing mail, accommodation & office keys and various administrative tasks. You will assist with the supervision of a team of student colleagues and support their professional development while they work alongside their studies.

Where you'll work:

In this role, you'll be based in the Campus & Commercial Team and will predominately work at the Welcome Desk, which is the main reception of Plymouth Marjon University.

The role operates in shifts that largely sit between Monday and Friday 08:30 - 16:30 but this is subject to change and may extend to evening & weekend working on a rota basis.

Someone with a curious mind who can support ongoing improvements to service and operations at the Welcome Desk. The successful candidate will enjoy working in a fast paced environment and be committed to delivering exceptional customer service.
