Job summary

University of Bath - Skills Centre is seeking a casual General Assistant (Support Worker) to help a disabled colleague with mobility and basic computer tasks. The role is campus-based and designed for students with campus access, with two roles available, one currently open.

Sessions are ad hoc, typically 1 hour for computer tasks and up to 60 minutes daily for mobility, Monday to Thursday. Scheduling is flexible, aligned with timetable and workload, and may involve CPD materials writing and

• Assist a disabled colleague with mobility to and from the car and the office.
• Provide basic computer support following verbal instructions.
• Assist with CPD materials writing and room bookings (aFLAME Disability Network administration).
• Coordinate session timings to suit timetable and workload of staff member.
