Job summary

The University of Bath is seeking a proactive Student Support role to work with academic and professional services staff to deliver an integrated student support system within a specific academic department.

You will support colleagues through academic advising, course engagement monitoring, Disability Access Plans, Health, Wellbeing & Support for Study plans, and liaising with Student Support & Safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Pro-active and self-motivated attitude with strategic thinking.
• Effective communication and ability to build relationships with staff and students.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to interpret complex data.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with academic and professional services staff to support an integrated student support system.
• Provide academic advising, course engagement monitoring and Disability Access Plans support.
• Support Health, Wellbeing & Support for Study plans, Return to Study, and liaise with Student Support & Safeguarding.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues in the department, Faculty Student Support & Safeguarding, and across the University.
• Identify students at risk of not succeeding and help them access appropriate services.
