Job summary

KCGroup represents a prestigious education provider in Birmingham City Centre recruiting a Student Hub Advisor for a full-time temporary position. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, in a dynamic campus environment focused on delivering excellent student experiences.

You will guide students, handle queries across multiple channels, and contribute to events and wellbeing support with a strong emphasis on confidentiality and data accuracy.

Qualifications

• Experience in a student-facing role or similar customer service environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with diverse groups.
• Experience managing data and resolving student queries.
• Positive, proactive and organised approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Degree or experience within higher education/student support desirable.
• Experience with CRM systems or student records databases desirable.
• Understanding of data protection and student wellbeing support desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide student support via face-to-face, phone, email, live chat and messaging channels.
• Monitor student attendance and advise on absence issues.
• Act as a student advocate, liaising with academic staff and support teams.
• Maintain accurate student records and assist with reporting and data tracking.
• Support and organise campus events and student engagement activities.
• Handle sensitive matters with professionalism and confidentiality.
