Job summary

Coventry College is seeking a Security and Site Assistant to maintain a welcoming, secure and efficient environment for staff, students and visitors. You will perform janitorial and logistical tasks and support estates and facilities management as needed, including security and surveillance duties.

The role requires a valid SIA badge, a minimum of 3 years in a similar role, excellent customer service, calm conflict resolution, and strong written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA badge
• Minimum of 3 years in a similar role
• Experience delivering consistently high levels of customer service
• Ability to diffuse conflict calmly and effectively
• Willingness to update and adapt skills as required
• Ability to demonstrate understanding of equality and safeguarding relevant to the role
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
