Job summary

University of Leeds is seeking an approachable, customer-focused individual to join Residential Services. You will provide frontline reception, undertake maintenance tasks and site audits, and supervise external contractors on site. Flexibility to work across Residence locations and a 35-hour week is required.

Strong communication, IT and organisational skills are essential, with experience in front-line customer service and knowledge of building maintenance. A Basic Disclosure Check is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in front-line customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of building maintenance and minor repairs.
• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• IT and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high quality front line reception service to customers.
• Undertake maintenance tasks and site audits.
• Supervise the performance of external contractors on site.
• Work in line with Standard Operating Procedures to ensure consistent service.
• Be flexible to work across Residence locations with a 35 hour week.
