Job summary

UPP is recruiting a Maintenance Assistant to join the Nottingham team, delivering both planned and reactive maintenance on a 37.5-hour week with a ten-week rolling rota that includes three weekends in ten. The role offers a salary of £26,739 per annum and focuses on safety, reliability and resident wellbeing.

You will work to SLAs, log jobs in Planon and support building services operations with strong communication and health & safety awareness.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have worked in a similar role and environment.
• Strong communication and organisational skills are essential.
• Good understanding of health and safety procedures in building services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out reactive maintenance; log details on the Planon system using a portable device.
• Maintain environments to SLA standards; monitor plant rooms and common areas.
• Assist with statutory testing including fire alarm checks and emergency lighting.
• Provide reports on compliance, maintenance tasks and condition checks.
• Report Health and Safety issues to managers and take actions to reduce risk.
