Nottingham City Council is seeking a maintenance operative to keep the theatre site in top condition. You will assist with daily upkeep, carry out repairs from the maintenance log, and coordinate with contractors for planned and reactive work.
The role requires basic plumbing, carpentry and electrical knowledge, strong teamwork, and a solid commitment to health and safety. Hybrid working options may be available depending on the role.
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 42pw Tuesday to Saturday
Worker Type: Onsite Worker
Salary: Starting Salary is £30,000 (Level one) rising to - £30,900 (Level 3) per annum

We are very pleased to be able to further expand the Maintenance team to ensure the site is kept to a good standard for public and incoming companies, cast and crew. Assist staff with general upkeep of the building, carry out repairs from the maintenance log and liaise with contractors, for planned and reactive maintenance. Performing regular compliance checks such as asbestos or legionella as required.
-This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English, is an essential requirement for the role.
