Job summary

University of Worcester IT Student Support Assistant (Academic Year 2026-2027) invites a current student to join a team delivering IT services to students, staff, delegates and visitors. You will staff the walk-up desk at the Peirson Study and Guidance Centre and help maintain equipment across campus.

The role requires a scheduled rota covering core hours 07:00–19:00, seven days a week, typically 4–8 hours at the desk and 2 hours for maintenance checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a current University of Worcester student.
• Able to work a flexible rota during core hours.
• Willing to travel between campus sites within Worcester.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT assistance at the walk-up support desk for students and staff.
• Maintain loan laptops and perform pre-maintenance checks on AV equipment.
• Work with the IT Support team to deliver professional IT services.
