LCMB Building Performance Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Director to support Hard FM operations for a major HE client in central London on an interim basis for six to twelve months. This senior role leads a multi-disciplinary team across campus facilities, delivering strategic operational and infrastructure investment projects.

Formación

• Senior leadership experience in estates or campus operations for a large organisation (HE, healthcare, 24/7 environments).
• Engineering or building services background with degree and chartered status (CIBSE, IET, IMechE, RICS or IWFM).
• Strong ownership of statutory compliance and health and safety across a large estate.
• Experience managing multi-million-pound operational budgets and large hard FM contracts.
• Proven ability to lead in-house teams and outsourced service partners through change.

Responsabilidades

• Set priorities and standards for a multi-disciplinary in-house team and outsourced service partners.
• Support governance, reporting, audit response and remediation of findings for health and safety.
• Manage budgets of several million pounds, including maintenance and utilities.
• Guide management of hard FM and specialist contracts, including procurements and re-procurement where required.
• Provide technical assurance to capital projects and estates strategy, including design reviews and commissioning.
• Build relationships with academic departments, professional services, students’ representatives and external stakeholders.
• Ensure smooth handover with documentation and priorities for the permanent post-holder.
