Job summary

Leeds City College is seeking Facilities Assistants to join the Estates team at Park Lane Campus, providing essential campus support. This hands-on role covers maintenance, room setup, and collaboration with the Estates team to keep teaching activities running smoothly.

You will engage with students and staff to ensure safety and a welcoming environment, while assisting in security duties and coordinating with contractors as needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out minor maintenance tasks and site housekeeping to support teaching activities.
• Move furniture and set up rooms for classes, events, and exams according to plans.
• Support Estates team in safe, clean, and welcoming campus operations.
• Engage with students and staff to promote safe, respectful campus behaviour.
• Assist with security duties, patrols, access control, and CCTV monitoring.
• Coordinate with on-site contractors and visitors to ensure compliance.
