Luminate Education Group is seeking Facilities Assistants to join the Park Lane Campus Estates team. The role supports teaching and learning by maintaining a safe, clean environment and assisting in daily building operations.

You will work on a rota-based pattern including early, mid, and late shifts, contributing to a welcoming campus for students, staff, and visitors. Based at Park Lane, you will help manage site operations, coordinate maintenance activities, and support the Facilities

Qualifikationen

• GCSE English and Maths are required or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a customer service role with security responsibilities.
• Full UK driving licence is required.
• Experience in basic maintenance or DIY (plumbing/joinery/decorating) is advantageous.

Aufgaben

• Carry out minor maintenance tasks across the site, including cleaning, waste management, grounds maintenance, and seasonal duties.
• Move furniture and equipment to support classes, events, exams, and site moves.
• Work with the Estates team to deliver safe, clean, and welcoming environments for all users.
• Engage with students to welcome and reassure them, promoting proper conduct and restorative approaches when needed.
• Carry out security duties including guarding, patrolling, access control, and CCTV monitoring as required.
• Liaise with on-site contractors and visitors to ensure compliance.
