Job summary

TEC Partnership seeks a proactive Site Engagement Lead for The Grimsby Institute campus. This permanent role is 18.5 hours per week over 38 weeks per year, contributing to a positive culture and safe learning environment.

You will work with curriculum and pastoral teams to uphold behaviour standards, support students, and engage with parents. The role requires resilience, strong communication, and the ability to lead difficult conversations within safeguarding teams.

Qualifications

• Experience working with young people in educational or pastoral settings.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and act decisively.
• Excellent judgement and communication skills; able to build trust quickly.
• Capable of leading difficult conversations and supporting positive change.

Responsibilities

• Lead on behaviour management across the site to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Respond promptly to behaviour incidents, log actions and coordinate follow-up support.
• Build positive relationships with students to help meet expectations and develop positive conduct.
• Collaborate with teaching and support staff to implement behaviour strategies and uphold policies.
• Lead restorative conversations and mediation where appropriate.
• Monitor behaviour data and contribute to improvement plans.
• Support safeguarding processes and liaise with relevant staff when concerns arise.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding behaviour matters.
• Model professionalism and high expectations to contribute to campus culture.
