Newham College London is seeking a Student Engagement Coordinator to support Senior Management and Security, ensuring a welcoming, safe environment on-site. You will line manage the Student Engagement team, oversee daily reporting of concerns and respond to incidents in line with the College’s Behaviour Policy and Safeguarding policies.

You will implement duty manager processes, work with security and Curriculum Management, and contribute to at-risk interventions and pastoral support, tracking

Responsabilidades

• Deliver high quality customer care and service to visitors, staff and students while maintaining acceptable behaviour levels.
• Uphold college values and standards in communal areas and report concerns.
• Support the duty manager process and college incident plan when appropriate.
• Implement the student positive behaviour policy and ensure clear communication between security, safeguarding, reception and senior managers.
• Engage with daily Duty Managers to collaborate as needed.
• Assist Curriculum Heads during disciplinary investigations and meeting preparation.
• Attend safeguarding meetings and course team meetings to share concerns and trends.
• Identify students needing extra support and refer to Student Services or Additional Learning Support.
