Job summary

The University of Sydney invites applications for a Campus Connect Consultant to join the Shared Services Centre HR Service Desk. You will handle enquiries via phone, email, web, remote and in person, ensuring accurate information and a positive customer experience within service timeframes.

Reporting to the HR Team Leader, you will work across multiple channels, support Service Now and HR systems, and may be cross-skilled across ICT and Travel and Expenses teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service roles, preferably in a shared service or multi-channel environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Empathetic approach when assisting staff and students.
• Ability to multitask and learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with HR policies and enterprise agreements is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage phone enquiries and Service Now tickets through to resolution.
• Provide face-to-face student and staff support at Campus Connect Hubs.
• Identify and participate in continual improvement across processes and systems.
• Collaborate with Shared Service Centre staff and other university groups.
• Attend team and centre-wide meetings as required.
