Job summary

ALPADIA in the United Kingdom is seeking dedicated Welfare Officers/House Parents for our summer camp in Ardingly. You will safeguard and promote the wellbeing of students, supervise residences, and manage behaviour to ensure a positive, safe environment.

You will also assist with arrivals, departures, activities, and welfare monitoring, while supporting sick students and maintaining high safeguarding standards in an international, dynamic team setting.

Qualifications

• Safeguarding and welfare experience with under 18s (Desirable)
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and multitask
• Positive attitude and integrity

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote the wellbeing of all students in our care
• Monitor and supervise the student residence ensuring safety and wellbeing
• Manage students' behaviour with appropriate sanction or encouragement
• Assist with arrival/departure procedures and daily routines
• Support sick students and monitor accommodation cleanliness
• Participate in activities and excursions and help with welfare documentation
