Job summary

Resicare Alliance LTD is seeking a Waking Night Residential Support Worker to provide overnight care and safeguarding for the children and young people in our residential home. You will be the calm, constant presence through the night, supporting bedtime routines and ensuring every child feels safe until morning.

You will follow care plans, behaviour strategies and risk assessments, maintain professional boundaries, and participate in supervision and mandatory training toward a Level 3 Diploma

• Calm under pressure and dependable with a passion for child safety.
• Ability to maintain professional boundaries and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Commitment to safeguarding and safeguarding standards in all interactions.

Responsibilities

• Remain awake and alert throughout night shift.
• Carry out welfare checks and follow care plans and risk assessments.
• Support children who wake during the night and maintain a safe environment.
• Record and hand over clear notes to day staff.
• Collaborate with families, social workers, and professionals.
