Job summary

Specsavers Home Visits in Brentwood is seeking a part-time Call Handler to deliver exceptional customer service over the phone and book appointments for home visits. You’ll handle high volumes of calls, perform some admin tasks and play a key role in supporting customers who can’t visit stores.

The role prioritises a friendly, professional voice, strong time management and an organised approach. Optical experience is a plus but not essential.

As a Call Handler with Specsavers Home Visits, you don’t need to have previous optics experience, you just need to be prepared to create an outstanding experience for our customers each and every time.

This office-based role will primarily involve receiving a high volume of incoming calls and making outbound calls and booking appointments for our customers. We are looking for someone who has an excellent telephone manner and is confident dealing with people. There will be some admin duties required in this role too.

Our ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and have experience working in a call centre type environment. This is a busy and fast-paced role, so we are looking for someone who can work at pace and has excellent time management and organisational skills.

You’ll be surrounded and supported by a team bringing care to the homes of the people who can’t come into our stores.

Essentially, you’ll be making a real difference here.
