Tesco Cafes are looking for a Team Member to join our busy cafe team. You’ll help with cooking, serving, and keeping areas clean, while ensuring safety standards and the menu promises are met.

Qualifications

• Commitment to hospitality and excellent customer service.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety standards.
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain a clean environment.

Responsibilities

• Keeping kitchen equipment and utensils clean and tidy.
• Serving customers quickly, efficiently and with care.
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations while keeping daily records.
• FIFO stock rotation to keep our food fresh.
• Accepting deliveries and handling safe storage of food.
• Following all operational policies and procedures.
• Preparing, cooking, and serving food according to the caf's menu.
• Ensuring all food products are available and standards are met.
• Knowing the caf's menu and serving food as intended.
• Resolving customer complaints and passing on information to the Caf Manager.
• Staying updated with business communications and new initiatives.
• Clearing and sanitising tables to keep the caf clean.
