Job summary

Tesco Cafés in the United Kingdom is seeking a Team Leader to join our friendly, fast-paced environment, delivering excellent customer service and leading by example. You’ll support the Manager, coach colleagues, and help drive daily operations with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Background in hospitality with Team/Shift Leader experience.
• Passion for providing excellent customer service.
• Health & Safety and Food Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining operational and safety standards.
• Ensuring all food safety and hygiene regulations are met.
• Leading by example by providing an excellent experience for customers.
• Opening and closing the café and overseeing full operations in the Manager's absence.
• Recognising and celebrating team members for providing excellent service.
• Learning the menu inside out and helping the team to do the same.
• Boosting sales by ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
• Delivering Health & Safety and Food Safety training for team members.
• Supporting the Café Manager with coaching and development.
• Seeking ways to improve service for customers.
• Promoting an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected and safe.
