Job summary

Tesco UK is seeking a Team Leader for one of our Cafés. You will supervise daily café operations, coach team members, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Hospitality background with Team/Shift Leader experience.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operational and safety standards.
• Ensure health & safety and food safety regulations are met.
• Lead by example with excellent customer service.
• Open and close the café and oversee operations in the Manager’s absence.
• Recognise and celebrate strong team performance.
• Learn the menu and help the team to do the same.
• Boost sales by efficient team placement and service.
• Deliver Health & Safety and Food Safety training.
• Support the Café Manager with coaching and development.
• Seek ways to continuously improve customer service.
• Promote an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected.
