Vertas is seeking an Assistant Manager to join the Catering team at The Lodge Forest Cafe, Stirling. You will support the Catering Manager in supervising the café, ensuring hygiene standards, managing staff, and overseeing day-to-day kitchen and front-of-house operations.

The role involves administrative duties such as orders, cash handling, stock control and monitoring budgets, with a focus on cost control to keep the business profitable.

Qualificações

• Previous experience supervising staff and motivating a team.
• Ability to listen and respond to colleagues, customers and suppliers needs to achieve the best outcome.
• Capacity to adapt to change in a growing organisation and make decisions when required.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Catering Manager in supervising the café, monitoring hygiene standards, staff training and daily kitchen/front-of-house operations.
• Handle administrative duties including placing orders, cash handling, stock control and monitoring of food budgets.
• Check and record all food and non-food deliveries and take action as needed.
• Assist in controlling costs for consumables and staff labour to ensure profitability.
