Job summary

Vertas, the integrated facilities management provider, is seeking a chef for its High Lodge site. You will prepare and serve quality food, run a cooking station and ensure stock is ordered to meet site standards.

Hours are 30 per week across four days (8am–4pm). The role requires proven chef experience, the right to work in the UK, and an enhanced DBS check. You’ll join a culinary team focused on safety, hygiene and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Preparing food day to day to meet site standards.
• Managing a cooking station and getting food out on time.
• Following safety and hygiene practice with equipment, utensils and food storage.
• Keeping ingredients fresh and reordering stock when supplies run low.
• Cleaning.
• Working with the culinary team to keep quality and service up through the shift.
