Job summary

Dŵr Cymru Welsh Water operates at Llys y Fran Reservoir in Pembrokeshire, inviting candidates to join a casual Visitor Centre team. You will assist visitors with information, handle till operations, display merchandise, and contribute to a welcoming, safe environment.

The role involves serving food and beverages, maintaining clean facilities, and supporting flexible shifts including weekdays and weekends. DBS and reference checks apply; training is provided.

Qualifications

• Customer experience required.
• Practical Health & Safety experience required.
• Retail customer service knowledge or specialism required.
• Experience working with the general public preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Commercial awareness helpful.
• Numeracy / till operating skills important.

Responsibilities

What you’ll be responsible for

• Work to appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of all persons on site.
• Provide a friendly information service to visitors about places to walk, cycle and other activities.
• Display shop items and maintain stock to maximise income.
• Daily reconciliation of income with till receipts.
• Engage with visitors as an ambassador of Welsh Water.
• Serve food and beverages to customers.
• Ensuring tables are clean and available for customers to use.
• General cleaning duties with the kitchen and storage areas.

• A satisfactory DBS check will be required prior to start date for all successful applicants.
• Variety of shift patterns available, although candidates will need to be flexible to work weekdays and weekends.
