Job summary

JMC Aviation is recruiting a Cabin Mechanic to support heavy maintenance on A320 family aircraft at Glasgow. This contract role requires a strong focus on safety, compliance and technical excellence in a fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 12 months base maintenance experience since qualifying as an Aircraft Mechanic, with proven cabin maintenance exposure and the right to work in the UK. Shift pattern is 4 on, 4 off, with tooling provided by the client.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in Base maintenance since qualifying as an Aircraft Mechanic.
• Experience working base maintenance on A320 family aircraft.
• Experience as a cabin mechanic on commercial aircraft.

Responsibilities

• undertake tasks within the maintenance operation aligned with your skills and training.
• Ensure quality is maintained in line with client requirements.
• Comply with Health and Safety, airworthiness, quality and client procedures.
• Complete Human Factors initial training and refresher as needed.
• Complete EWIS, FTS and SMS certificates or refresher courses as required.

On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for an Cabin Mechanic to join their team to support their heavy maintenance activities on A320 family aircraft. Key Responsibilities

• To undertake any tasks within the maintenance operation that is in line with your individual skills, experience and training.
• To ensure quality is consistently sustained, in line with the client’s requirements
• Ensure full compliance with Health and safety, airworthiness, quality and client’s procedures.
• Initial Human Factors
• Human Factors refresher (if initial expired)
• Initial EWIS 1&2
• EWIS 1&2 refresher (if initial expired)
• Initial FTS 1&2
• FTS 1&2 refresher (if initial expired)
• SMS certificate

Experience

• A minimum of 12 months experience in Base maintenance since qualifying as an Aircraft Mechanic
• Right to live and work in the UK
• Experience working base maintenance on A320 family aircraft
• Experience as a cabin mechanic
