JMC Aviation Limited is recruiting a B1 Licensed Engineer for a UK charter airline based in Stansted. The role focuses on conducting and supervising aircraft maintenance to the highest standards, including flying duties when required.

Responsibilities

• Complete shift-by-shift tasks as directed by the UK Station Manager or Supervisor.
• Certify work performed under authorisation terms and MOE procedures.
• Supervise mechanics, handlers, interiors technicians and cleaners as allocated.
• Perform maintenance duties away from base or at outstations as required.
• Operate as a flying engineer on flights requiring such function.

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a UK Charter Airline based in Stansted, we are currently recruiting for a B1 Licensed Engineer to help support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Team with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and excellence in aviation services and support.

Key Responsibilities

The Role:

• Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures
• Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, the personal company authorisation
• Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the Shift Supervisor
• Ensuring that they are familiar with the MOE procedures and work instructions that affect their duties;
• Performing engineering duties ‘Away from Base’ or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager, including acting in, and representing the Company in a manner acceptable to the Company
• Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;
• Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;
• Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft is positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible.

Candidate Requirements

• Must hold a UK CAA - PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years, on at least the following aircraft/engine types: EMB190 GE CF 34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700
• Hold or obtain a recency letter from QA Department along with Company authorisation from most recent employer
• Provide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recency
• Previous line and base maintenance experience
• Be willing to work away from base to support the fleet and company operations and to be able travel at short notice as a flying Engineer or with AOG recovery
• Hold a full and valid Driving Licence
• Hold a valid Passport with the ability to reside and work in the UK
• Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening
