JMC Aviation is recruiting a B1 Licensed Engineer for a UK charter airline based at Stansted. The role involves hands-on maintenance, certification of work, and supervision of a small team, with responsibilities including occasional outstation duties and flying engineer tasks on short notice.

The successful candidate will hold a UK CAA PART 66 licence with recent line/base maintenance experience, be willing to work a 5x5x4 shift pattern including nights, and be able to travel as required to

Qualifications

• Must hold a UK CAA PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years on EMB190 GE CF34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700
• Hold or obtain recency letter from QA Department with Company authorisation from most recent employer
• Provide supporting Logbooks or worksheets demonstrating recency
• EWIS, FTS, HF (Initial + recurrent)
• Previous line and base maintenance experience
• Willing to work away from base to support fleet and operate as flying Engineer or AOG recovery
• Shift work including nights on a 5x5x4 pattern with two weekends off per month
• Full and valid Driving Licence
• Valid Passport with right to reside and work in the UK
• Ability to provide information for 5 year referencing
• Ability to pass pre-employment drugs and alcohol screening

Responsibilities

• Ensure cleanliness and interior trim of aircraft meet company standards
• Ensure engineering facilities, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable

About the Role

On behalf of our client, a UK Charter Airline based in Stansted, we are currently recruiting for a B1 Licensed Engineer to help support their maintenance activities. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Team with a strong focus on innovation, quality, and excellence in aviation services and support.

The Role:

• Completion of the tasks allocated to them on a shift by shift basis by the UK Station Manager or Shift Supervisor, or carried out as part of their routine duties, in accordance with company procedures
• Certification of the work carried out by themselves under the terms of, and within the limitations set by, the personal company authorisation
• Supervision duties in respect of the mechanics, handlers, Interiors Technicians and aircraft cleaners as allocated by the Shift Supervisor
• Ensuring that they are familiar with the MOE procedures and work instructions that affect their duties;
• Performing engineering duties ‘Away from Base’ or at outstations as detailed by the Maintenance Manager or UK Station Manager, including acting in, and representing the Company in a manner acceptable to the Company
• Operate as a flying engineer on flights that require such a function with the ability to depart with the aircraft at short notice;
• Ensuring that the cleanliness and interior trim of the aircraft are maintained to company standard;
• Ensuring that the engineering facility, vehicles and equipment are clean and serviceable and aircraft are positioned in the hangar or on the Titan designated parking area wherever possible.

Candidate Requirements

Essential:

• Must hold a UK CAA - PART 66 Licence and have a minimum 6 months experience within the past two years, on at least the following aircraft/engine types: EMB190 GE CF 34, A320 CFM/V2500 + Leap, A330 RR T700
