Job summary

British Airways is seeking an Engineering Quality and Delivery Manager to lead cabin programmes, ensure contractual quality, and manage supplier relationships on a global scale. You will drive performance, oversee technical requirements, and coordinate with BA and IAG stakeholders to secure best-in-class product quality.

The role requires a STEM engineering background, strong business awareness, and at least five years of technical delivery experience.

Qualifications

STEM degree or recognised apprenticeship or equivalent engineering experience required.
Essential: broad business awareness and stakeholder collaboration skills.
Desirable: experience in project teams and leading colleagues or associates.
Experience in supplier management and strong cabin product knowledge preferred.
Minimum 5 years of technical experience in an engineering delivery role.

Responsibilities

Deliver cabin programmes to contractual standards, on time and with high quality.
Lead supplier relationships, driving performance and defect rectification plans.
Collaborate with BA/IAG stakeholders to maintain quality across projects.
Oversee technical requirements and monitor quality and delivery metrics.
Identify issues, propose innovative solutions, and negotiate acceptance criteria.
Act as on-site focal point with global cabin suppliers on technical matters.
Provide on-site technical expertise aligned with safety and regulatory needs.
Champion process improvement and reduce repetitive build defects.
Track in-service performance and ensure corrective actions in new deliveries.
Liaise with Programme Team and IAG to secure commitments beyond delivery.
